Part One of the series was held at the City of Lodz Office on 6-7.02.06 with keynote presentations by Storm Cunningham - author of "The Restoration Economy" and Director of the Revitalization Institute, and Roy van Dalm - Speaker for The Richard Florida Creativity Group in The Netherlands, a journalist and lecturer on Creative Cities. The conference was produced by EC&B Consulting and The University of Trade in Lodz, and financially supported by ING Bank, Embassies of the USA, the Netherlands and the UK in Warsaw.
Part Two called the Creative Redevelopment Festival was held on 11-12.09.06 at the Lodz Art Center and Scheibler’s Power Station in Ksiezy Mlyn, and this time was produced by EC&B Consulting, Correspondance des Arts Foundation, LSSE and Lodz Art Center, financially supported by LSSE, BPH Bank, ING Bank, Embassies of the USA and UK in Warsaw. The keynote speakers were Ms Julia Vitullo-Martin of the Manhattan Institute in New York, Roy van Dalm and Peik Suyling representing the ACX - Amsterdam Creativity Exchange, and Professor Maciej Zalewski of the European Regional Centre for Ecohydrology under the auspices of UNESCO in Lodz.
